The following book lists are guides for you to help your child pick "just right" books at the library or bookstore. Your child should know his or her reading level. Please remember, your child may be able to read words at a much higher level, but the reading level takes into account the comprehension level. Reading a book way above your child's level will not improve his reading. Reading lots of books on his level will push him to the next level. Please encourage reading as often as possible and be a good reading role model.
